AMD Radeon RAMDisk is a free tool which creates a virtual drive using up to 4GB of your system memory.
The limit goes up to 6GB if you have AMD Radeon memory installed, and up to 64GB if you pay for one of the commercial versions ($9.99 - $18.99).
The RAMDisk outperforms any other storage media by a huge margin - maybe 100x faster than an SSD - which gives you all kinds of speedup possibilities. You could run commonly-used portable programs from there, maybe use it to store a video file you're playing so it won't slow other PC activities, perhaps save your browser cache on the drive for superfast read/ write speeds.
A RAM disk is a block of memory that computer software treats as a disk drive. In other words, a RAM disk application turns some of your computer's RAM into a very fast disk drive with theoretically unlimited write cycles. Since RAM is the fastest memory in your computer, the speed of a RAM drive exceeds that of any SSD, let alone a regular. Install a program like DataRAM's RAMDisk Personal — the free version allows you to create RAM disks up to 4 GB in size — and use it to create a new RAM disk. You can then install programs to it or move files to it. You'll want to save a copy of the RAM disk so you won't lose the data if your computer ever goes down. Try this link, Asus sometimes offers different software for each OS version, so go through them all until you find ROG RAMDisk. Alternately, you could try the software download pages for other ROG motherboards - I think the software for any ROG motherboard will work on any ROG motherboard, assuming it can detect the special-sauce onboard ROG chip. Setup can be as easy as choosing the size of the RAMDisk you'd like to create, and giving it a drive letter. (Don't allocate too much RAM to your new drive, otherwise Windows and application performance will suffer and your system might be slower overall.)
There are other options to explore, in particular the ability to save the RAMDisk to your hard drive when the PC shuts down, and load it again on boot. That's useful if you need a persistent drive, for example to install an application, but it may add a noticeable delay to your startup and shutdown process.

AMD Radeon RAMDisk is a capable RAM disk creator which can make a real difference to your PC's performance, assuming you've plenty of spare memory. It's just a rebranded version of Dataram RAMDisk, but the free-for-personal-use build has a higher maximum size (4GB vs 1GB) which could justify the download.

RAMDisk is a program that takes a portion of your system memory and uses it as a disk drive. It is a kernel-level driver that presents a standard disk drive to the OS. However, it stores and retrieves data from the system RAM on your motherboard instead of an actual, physical disk. You can partition, format, mount a volume, and assign multiple drive letters to RAMDisk.
